Whitney Yoder-Bourdiaux is the owner and operator of ezDownsizing Tampa, LLC. She is a Certified Personal Property Appraiser through the Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA). With a background in the field of mental health, Whitney’s passion has always been to help others in a time of need by providing client-centered solutions. Whitney takes pride in being able to continue to help others during difficult life transitions by providing effective and efficient downsizing services.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea (OH), Whitney moved to Europe to participate in collaborative research programs aimed at enhancing mental health care policies and practices. She also earned her master’s degree in Methodology and Statistics at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. After spending almost 6 years working and studying in Italy, France, and the Netherlands, Whitney moved back to the United States to work as a Data Analyst for a large non-profit mental health agency. As a result of frequently moving, Whitney not only became a huge proponent of furnishing her new homes with second-hand items, but she also quickly became an expert at knowing what to buy, where to buy it, and how much to pay for it. Her expertise in both local and international arts, antiques, and furnishings in no small way led her to becoming a certified appraiser.
Over the years, Whitney would frequently visit second-hand thrift stores to find ‘treasures’ and sell them on eBay to supplement her income. When Whitney stepped down from her full-time data analyst position, she dedicated her new career to providing liquidation services and later operated her own estate sale company, Trusted Heirloom Estate Sale & Downsizing Solutions specializing in online auction estate sale services in Ohio, and eventually Florida.
